Workshop on making climate action participatory

This workshop was convened by the Open Governance Network for Europe, a joint initiative of the Open Government Partnership and the Democratic Society. It brought together officials at EU, national and local levels with a broad spectrum of civil society to learn, discuss and exchange on how to make European climate action participatory in order to develop stronger, more responsive and inclusive climate policies and build public support for their implementation.The workshop explored and highlighted practices from a variety of entry points for such engagement, based on the values of open governance to ensure sustainability, inclusivity and fairness in the transition.
