The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
Training workshop on citizens' assemblies with children and youth: What are they about and how to make them work in different European contexts
If you are a European practitioner or organization working on children’s and youth participation or in citizen’s assemblies, then join a unique training workshop with Katie Reid and other leading experts, taking place from 3rd to 5th of February 2025, in Málaga, Spain.
This event, part of a broader initiative with the support of the Changemakers for Democracy program, will explore how to adapt citizens’ assemblies—traditionally designed for adults—to effectively include children and youth in decision-making processes across diverse European political contexts.
You can find here the TRAINING PROGRAM DETAILS.
Deadline for applications: 8th of January 2025.
Katie Reid is also the author of the KNOCA Guidance on Children and Young People's Participation in Climate Assemblies.
