The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
A climate assembly for the Netherlands

On Monday 4 July, the Dutch Cabinet announced its wish to launch a Climate Assembly and requested collaboration from Parliament to ensure that the right preconditions would be in place, such as having clarity about what will happen to citizens’ recommendations. KNOCA looks forward to working with Dutch officials and other stakeholders to learn lessons from previous assemblies and to ensure the robustness of the process.
