The Citizens' Assembly on Trade and Climate brought together a representative group of UK citizens to deliberate on a vital question: "how should UK trade policy respond to climate change?" Over a total of 35 hours, Assembly members heard from a range of experts and engaged in discussion and debate. The result was a rich set of insights into the role UK citizens feel trade policy should play in tackling the climate crisis.

The Citizens Assembly on Trade and Climate was organised in July 2024 by the Trade Justice Movement, Liam Campling at Queen Mary University London, and Mutual Gain. To find out more about the project, watch a short video and read the reports, see here
