The Knowledge Network on Climate Assemblies (KNOCA) aims to improve the commissioning, design, implementation and impact of climate assemblies, using evidence, knowledge exchange and dialogue. We are an active community of policy makers, practitioners, activists, researchers and other actors with experience and interest in climate assemblies who co-create activities and knowledge.
KNOCA Annual Meeting
The KNOCA annual meeting, which marked the first anniversary of the network's launch, was successfully held in European Central Time (CET). This event served as a vibrant platform to review KNOCA's activities over the past year, exchange knowledge, and contemplate the future of climate assemblies. Attendees, including more than 500 members, had the opportunity to network, gain insights into the evolving landscape of climate assemblies, and participate in insightful sessions.
These sessions covered critical topics such as the framing of Climate Assemblies, their adaptation by public bodies, and key strategies for achieving impactful outcomes. The meeting proved to be a milestone event for KNOCA, offering both educational and networking opportunities and hinting at more exciting developments for the future.
