This event will be held at Central European Time (CET)

Over the past year, unprecedented experiments with transnational deliberative processes dealing with climate change have taken place. The global assembly gathered 100 citizens to discuss the climate and ecological crisis and present their proposals at COP26 in November 2021. The Conference on the Future of Europe gathered 200 citizens from all over Europe to consider climate change and environment, among other issues, and discuss their proposals with European politicians and stakeholders in the European Parliament during the Spring 2022. This learning call will interrogate the organisation and impact to date of these processes, drawing out innovations in practice and lessons for future developments.

Yago Bermejo Abati (Deliberativa), Claire Mellier (OSCA), and Judith Ferrando (Mission Publiques), Bjørn Bedsted (Danish Board of Technology) will be in conversation with Graham Smith, Chair of KNOCA and taking questions from the audience.
